Solo Work – Rocky Hong
Rocky Hong was my personal brand for solo game development — indie, juicy, and hyper-minimal. I built and published games that locked into one loop and one feeling. Beat Stomper reached over 15 million downloads and was featured globally on the App Store and Google Play. More titles followed, all sharp, fast, and featured across platforms.
I saw data as real connection — not just numbers. Together, these games have been played for over a century of time, not just tapping screens, but designed to touch joy right where it lives.
Macaca Games – Former Co-founder
Macaca Games was founded by three close college friends —Miki (Tech Lead), Timo (Lead Artist), and Rocky (Product Lead). As director, I worked across product, design, development, and partnerships, helping shape both the creative direction and the way we built as a team.
We launched original titles and partnered with global publishers like Voodoo, Lion Studios, and Amanotes. Our games were featured across platforms, and the studio expanded into PC, VR, MR, Web, and Web3 — offering full-spectrum creative and technical development.
Macaca was where I learned to grow something from spark to scale — and to achieve what I couldn't have built alone.
